As we enter the rebuild phase of web3 following the downfall of FTX. We discovered a new issue. Censorship, and less privacy within EVM's. The goal of Kovri Labs is to research and create a simpler way of shielding transactions using zero-knowledge proofs. Entirely possible by using an EVM scaling solution. We are just beginning to build a foundation based on Polygon's Nightfall ZKP infrastructure. We are in phase one of our development stage. Research has also been initiated into the utilization of web3 using i2P networks.

Why Polygon's Nightfall features are so important to the future of Ethereum.

Polygon nightfall will enable enterprise and individualized privacy options while maintaining the security of the ETH network. Similar to Zcash (more on ZEC in the future). Privacy is a human right, something that has mostly been ignored in the DeFi space.

The future of finance in web3 has to have some way to shield your activity completely. Regulators might frown upon this, but we think this is the best way to attract adoption to the masses. 

Right now, an address you use to trade on EVM's is completely transparent and can track where all of your assets came from or to whom you sent assets. Regardless of what it could be, that's your data, and you should have complete control over it with no prying eyes. For good or bad, privacy is a right. Especially in finance.
